LAY LEADER
The Lay Leader is the senior executive for an individual JH Outback event and is responsible for supervising every aspect of the individual JH Outback event.
As Lay Leader, you will be the driver behind the assembling and training of volunteers and the marketing of the JH Outback weekend to guests. Your leadership before, during, and after the Weekend Event will have an incredible impact not only on the Guests but also on everyone that serves with you as a Volunteer. They will naturally look to you for leadership and answers and with a little preparation you will be perfectly equipped to serve them in this role.
PRIMARY ROLE OF LAY LEADER
Serve as the leader in the preparation, execution, and follow up for the Event. The Lay Leader leads the effort to assign Team Leaders. Once Team Leaders have been assigned, the Lay Leader is responsible for synchronization the team leaders and supervising the execution of each area.
Areas of Focus
1. Ensuring that the core tenants of the JH ministry are best represented at the JH Outback.
2. Prayerfully placing the right people in the right positions to build the strongest JH Outback team for the event.
3. Ensuring there are proper accommodations for all components of an Outback.
4. Supervision of the budget.
