CITY TREASURER

The City Treasurer is responsible for all accounting of all financial transactions throughout the year for the local JH Outback.

This city team should consist of influential people, some with platforms such as schools, churches and former guests who are influential to invite their community to the next JH Outback.

Stewarding resources is a critical role in the health and development of your city’s JH Outback. At JH Everlasting Adventures, stewardship is one the core values. Maintaining an integrity and plan to the finances of an organization is essential for a healthy program. The difference between good and great is in the details, and your commitment to the financial details of JH Outback is greatly appreciated!

PRIMARY ROLE OF CITY TREASURER

As the City Treasurer, you will have 5 primary accounting responsibilities:

  1. Collect all local monies and make all deposits.

  2. Write all checks.

  3. Enter all checks and deposits into QuickBooks online.

  4. Provide the JH Outback Accountant with copies (preferably digitally) of all deposits, invoices, ‘ExpenseReports,’ and receipts as well as any additional information the accountant requests.

  5. Keep orderly files.
